I have been around motorcycles all my life and was eager to see it when it was released.
I enjoyed the movie but felt it was a bit 'slow'. I love Anthony Hopkins!
I saw allot of my father in the character!
I give it a 7.5!

Watched it last night and it was great. I've been riding motorcycles nearly 40-years now and that movie grabbed me. Interesting quote from Burt Monro: "Today anyone can BUY a fast bike." His 1926 Indian Scout went something like 56mph from the factory - and he finally broke the 200mph mark on it...all from personal modifications!

Now that's some accomplishment!

If you're are or were a throttle twister; highly recommended! :twothumbs

and in his CC class he still holds the record to this day
amazing accomplishment at his age

we are talking about a man in his late 60s to 70s when he did it.

Excellent movie...picked it up at the store the other day and watched it this morning. Despite all the adversity he endured and all the naysayers, he overcame it all and showed what you can accomplish by following your dreams. Thanks for recommending this movie CJ. I loved it.

watch the extras at the end.
there is a Documentary on Burt's life and alot of interviews, a must see

there is also a piece where they talk to all the actors and actresses including Hopkins. some small things are repeated from earlier but all very good and as interesting as the movie.

Watching the extras now CJ. They have done a very nice job putting those together as well. The actors who played in the movie really have their heart into this and worked very hard at getting the facts straight. What a tribute to such a great man and his accomplishments.
