I love my Beretta cougar 8045 The gun is extremely accurate I love that the kick on it is less than my rugar p95 I took a female friend of ours with us that had never shot before and she was dead on with the gun and would not give it back to me to shoot

Forgot to add if anyone is looking for this gun GOOD LUCK Beretta quit making it a few years back, they do however still make it in the 8040 which is a 40 cal

still haven't gotten gotten the DE yet ? lol j/k if you plan to shoot it on a regular bases go for the .45 its cheaper to shoot (not as much fun) plus it is a hell of a lot more comfortable. To me the 1911 is the most versatil hand gun out its easy to carry fun and easy to shoot and it concels very nice and fits my hand like a glove

Not gonna go into the first part of your statement because that is what you prefer but on bein' accurate....... and the need for more ammo....... is that your opinion or fact? Seems to me.....the user plays a big part on bein' accurate and more ammo......all it takes is one. Know your weapon and how to use it, then practice, practice, practice.

I've got quasi-law enforcement training in several areas, so I understand the user accuracy part, but sometimes in high stress situations a person needs all the help he can get!

As for ammo...it just depends on where you travel!
