9-9-9 was my birthday and I used my lunch break at work to go test drive a new Camaro SS! I have to admit, if I had a choice I would have probably picked a stick to drive, but the guy brought out keys to an auto and the auto was REALLY SWEET! I forgot about the steering wheel having paddle shifters and I certainly enjoyed that. Only drawback was having to drive around in Charlotte where it was either 35 or 45mph... In the showroom they had 2 new SS's that the dealership had installed superchargers on! I didn't get the exact markup on them, but it was somewhere around $15-20k. They also had a ZR1 marked up to $158k! There were also other Vettes in there that they put cold air kits, headers, & cat-back systems on. It's pretty cool to see that sitting in a dealer showroom and warranty included. Anyway, the test drive was awesome!!! After work we went out to eat and I had a fantastic steak plus several Yuenglings on draft!!! Thursday we left out for a week at Daytona Beach!!! I'll be chillin down here till this Thursday, so hopefully I'll have some time for posting!
