My first Deer!

Whooo-Hooooo!

Baged a 140 lbs., 8 point buck today up in Maine with my new Henry .44 mag, open sights at about 50 yards!

Life is good!

Congrats on the nice buck though, especially with the pistol! I am assuming the Henry 44 mag. is a handgun... That is all I use now for the last 5 seasons is a hand cannon. Mine is a single shot Thomson Contender in 30-30 cal. 4 deer so far, but no trophy buck... She packs a wallop though with my 130 gr. hand loads! It has a 3x Burris scope and I can hold a 4" group at 100yds with a good rest!
