Okay, so now that someone has moved this, my opening post makes no sense.

I hang out in the CAR AUDIO section, not the LOUNGE.

And these are pics of my truck with an Audio system in it.

Why can't things stay where I put them?

I miss my '01 Xtreme S10. I traded it in on a Hemi Ram and regretted it every day. I took a few pictures on an old old old digital camera that I had and of course I no longer have any of the saved pics. I'd still like to own another s10...maybe one day!

Since I posted this in the Audio/Video section, I am going to pretend it's still there and go more in depth with the system like I intended.

I did this mod years ago when the PS2 was hot. Amazing on the amount of attention it still gets. His the invertor in the console and installed a fan on the back of the console to dissipate the heat.

The front doors we redone and I removed the stock map pockets and speakers.

The bed system can run with the front or not at all.

4-Xtant 10: woofers running 4 ohm mono off of a MTX 2150x amp.
4-MTX 6.5" coax speakers running stereo 2 ohm off of a MTX 2150X amp.
1-13" monitor in the roof, 2-7" monitors in the side.
Fog machine in the middle with enough room down the center to haul an EZ-UP and chairs to go to a car show.

For front stage I am using 2 sets of MTX components. A 6.5" set and a 4" set.

The 6.5" are in the kick-panels which adds width to the soundstage.

The 4" set is in the stock 4x6 locations in the dash. I made a plate to adapt the 4" mid to the 4x6 factory hole. Tweeter is flush mounted in the speaker grille. This gives my soundstage the height it needs.

The dash holds a Pioneer Premier DEH-P860MP Cd Player.
This deck has time-alignment, 13-band EQ and built in crossovers. It had the P-bus so I added an AUX to get the DVD and PS2 audio and XM radio.

On top is a Pioneer AVH-p5700DVD DVD player. I use this just for DVD playback and an additional monitor.

Below both units is a Pioneer 7" monitor that I use to switch the video and audio to either the PS2 or DVD player.

I installed the cab system back in 2000, next Spring it will be rebuild time!

Current:
1-MTX 4300X 4-channel on front stage 6.5" and 4" comps.
1-MTX 2300X on 4 Xtant 10" woofers.

Soon to be:
1-MTX Black Gold amp on the 4" comps
1-MTX Black Gold amp on the 6.5" comps
1-MTX 2300X on 1 Xtant X2 12" sub
1-MTX 2300X on another Xtant 12" sub.

More power!

So a few days before Christmas a FedEx box shows up at my door.

Got the top amp back from MTX tech all working again!

I bought these both off of Ebay 2 years ago, one worked, one did not. My Buddy at MTX took care of it for me.

What an awesome Christmas Surprise!
