Close, I got 46. I just couldn't remember all those countries in Africa and all the "stans" that used to be in the USSR. None of the British Isle countries were accepted. Is that correct that they are not UN members? Or did I spell them wrong.

I got 53. Ireland is independent (Easter Uprising 1916). Northern Ireland is still being illegally held by the United Kingdom.
