Smile New to the board

Hi--just thought I'd pop on and say "hi". I just signed up on your board. I do not presently own an HHR but am seriously considering one. I hope to replace my current vehicle in the spring. I really want to learn more about the HHR, particularly the reliability, any maintenance problems folks have come across, etc, etc to help me decide whether to go with an HHR or stick with a Santa Fe. I LOVE my Santa Fe but am looking for something a bit easier on the fuel budget but that still has some cargo space for hauling dogs and a 2 year old human. :-)

Welcome to the Site, You will find a great bunch of people on this site. We sometime get a little crazy but we do have a lot of Fun. I was going to purchase a Santa Fe for my wife but she liked the Element in stead. I have a HHr with 60,000 miles and I have had mine for 21 months now and its a great vehicle I love driving it and I have met a great bunch of friends and have a new HHr family also, Enjoy this site and if you have any questions just ask some one will reply with the correct answer.

A I also love my HHR 06 LS 40k+ and it is just what I needed after a 95 GMC XCab with a 454 that juat loved fuel. My HHR is a earley build 07/04/05 and no real prob. Key sticking that I fixed with a little lube, a little rattle under the hood that was a loose line out of it's holder thats about it.
My wife liked my HHR so much that she got a 07. My daughter just got her a 07 1LT. Said I liked you & moms so I wanted One too.
Any ? you may have will be taken care of by the folks on this forum. Some you will like and others welllll you know. But it's all good again welcome..

Had mine close to 2yrs now, no mechanical problems, and still great gas milage. Plus enough room to haul my dogs.
