New guy here!

Hey, I'm ferrarimanf355, certified car nut, as if the username didn't give it away.
I'm thinking about getting either a fifth-gen Camaro, if it doesn't weigh as much as a Dodge Challenger, or an HHR SS. If I get the latter, I might get it in black and add some chrome trim as well. I wonder if I can put this grille on the HHR SS without having any cooling issues...

Anyways, say hi to the new guy!

Seriously doubt you would have any cooling problems w/ that grill. You would be left with a nice gap (an inch or so) left between the bumper and grill.

"Floreda" = Florida? If so, where abouts?

Welcome, The SS grille extends lower than the grille on the "reg" HHR. That one you ask about is for the non SS and you would have a gap as jx3 said.

Is there a way to fill the gap?

Custom fabricate your own grill. Or replace the whole front cap w/ the standard HHR facia.

If I put the standard HHR facia on the SS, would it interfere with the intercooler? If not, then I may go down the sleeper route...
