I'm new to this forum,but i'm not new to forums by no means as I am an
admin/part owner of www.v8s10.org and a admin on www.s-series.org

Didn't want to do it,but it had to be done. The wife and I just couldn't do with 3 s10 pickups anymore. 2 being regular cabs and hers being a ext cab with stereo equipment didn't help either.
Our 2000 just recently hit 100,000 miles. Since we've had it all thats went wrong has been the alt and a couple sets of brake pads. So it's been a good little truck.
On kind of a spur of the moment thing yesterday we got rid of this...

She swore she didn't want another red one,but this one stuck out among the all the silver ones we saw. It's got way more balls than the little 2.2 in the s10 ever had. The thing is a blast to drive,but I really wanted a SS.

I've been looking around the site making a list of cheap mods I wanna do.
So far i've got approval from the wife to do a shorty antenna and possibly
the 3 bar grille.
I can't just leave it stock..have to do something to it. The customization is kinda what lead me to a HHR in the first place. Thats what I always liked about S10s.


You mean nobody has done a LS1 or LS6 powered HHR yet? That would be freakin awsome.
