here is the reason my hhr hasn't been touched in a while. found a motor(292) and i have been working on the bags.

yeah i was set on either a straight six for cheap or if i couldnt find one fast i was gonna save for a cummins. this one popped up and i jumped on it. i actually got to hear it run in the truck before it was pulled. im not worried about going fast in a heavy car.
bad thing is the guy decided to cut all the wires about an inch long. made no sense cause he was junking the rest of the truck.

Now that would've been cool to see! Don't get me wrong, I like a big v8 like any other car guy, but the unusual is much more interesting. One I'll always remember was a '73 Monte Carlo...gutted, looked stick stock from the outside, except for this strange pipe coming out of the passenger front fender. It was a dump for his single turbo. Fugly car, but odd (memorable) setup.

Sucks to hear about the short wires, but I'm guessing you'll think of something.
