New Puppy - Proud Parents

Zephyr's home, and he's a pistol, that's for sure!! A ball of energy, sweet, good-natured, and the other dogs are beside themselves with curiousity. They've been wanting to sniff his backside, but I've been told to keep them separate until he gets a final clean bill of health from the next checkup. Of course, it's pouring rain all day, and he's probably going to get pneumonia, but eventually, I'd kinda like to clean up the mess from the grass, not from the crate .

I slept until 10AM today, knowing it was my last night of unbroken sleep for a while. He barks, he whines, and then a little baby howl comes out from the Beagle side of the family. He's a "puggle", half pug half beagle. We chose him because he was less pug looking. I think he will be almost black on his back when he's grown, but who knows. Pictures, shut up Cheri, they want to SEE Him!!

Here are Day 1 pictures. In some he is still in the box from the store:

He DOES look like a Beagly-Pug, doesn't he??

Congratulations to you and Dorian, Cheri! He's gorgeous and can't wait to meet him!
I've been itching for a new furr-baby, but know better.

Maximo, Paquita, Malinche, & Xochitl welcome the new family member!
Hope you had a great birthday!
(is this a present??!!)

I've got a 13 year old pure bred Beagle. I get a weird feeling looking at Puggles like something just ain't right. He's trying to look Beagly, but nooo, the tail's all curly. And his midsection shortened. WTH? Demon spawn!

Just joking. I'm sure he'll be a great pup. After he gets over chewing all your furniture and valuable belongings. lol

Cute!! I wanted a Puggle but couldn't find one at the local Shelter's nor could i find a Breeder in the Area. We ended up with another Boston. Looks like we have too little Cow's now.
