New RC plane arrived

As some of you may know, I'm big into radio controlled aircraft. Well my new plane arrived! I've assembled it and it's ready to fly, if the wind will ever stop blowing. It's a ducted fan F/A 18F Super Hornet jet and it flies about 70 MPH. Pretty fast for a foam electric plane, and over twice as fast as my Pitts biplane. Should be a new and challenging experience and I can't wait to fly it. Here are a couple of pics.

Nice I like the paint scheme on the new plane. I have two E-flite's one Blade cx and one cp but have flown planes before. One plane was the rc drone the military uses for target practice...

Very cool, makes me want to get back into R/C planes, last one I had was in the doped silk over balsa wood stringers days, and took many weeks to build and about 5 sec to nearly destroy when things went wrong. Saved up for a 3 channel proportional control (wow!).

That looks like a nice plane Doug. Sure hope you enjoy it.

Here is my 35% plane I have been building. I have a 105cc Gasoline Engine in it with a 112" wingspan, which you'll have to visualize for now.

You could fit an RC video camera in that c0ckpit real nice.

Hey! What's up with the training wheels on you heli. Be a man, crash the damn thing. That's what I do.

Looks cool Doug. There used to be a scale size airport that a local club maintained for all of their flying. Saw a guy land a small jet on a scale aircraft carrier, very cool!

I'm with you, have a 4x4 buggy (gas) and a traxxas stampede (electric). The stampede is on the operating table right now, Preparing to go brushless.

Oh believe me, I've crashed mine as well After replacing the main body, it was getting expensive without the "training wheels". I've praticed enough now I'm getting comfortable and thinking about removing them.
