Howdy All.......I have a 2007 HHR 2.4 that we purchased to tow 4 down behind the Motor Home. It tows like a dream. I have had it since Dec. and have only one major problem and wonder if anyone else has had the problem or one simular. During heavy rain the floor boards on the driver side front and rear get soaked. As I type it is at the dealer for the 3rd time. I do not have a sun roof. I am not sure if the rain is coming in while driving or as it sets in a down pour and somehow splashes up to soak the floor once I start driving. I thought the problem was solved until the monsoons hit the midwest. Any help will be appreciated.

I am surprised to hear that a 07 has this problem. This was a problem with 06 models and there are TSB's for this problem. However, most of the problems were with the passenger side floorboard, due to a flaw the right side of the firewall. The TSB usually involved a kit to seal up the area. For the driver side, I have only heard of a few instances where there were bad seals around the windshield. Not sure the dealers ever found a solution for this as some folks had it fixed outside the dealership. This would explain why yours had to go back for the third time.

Try doing a search (in this forum) for floorboard water leaks and you will find many threads related to this....

BTW, welcome!!!

Maybe it was an early production 07?
