newbie still undecided on a HHR

Hello
Just wanted to say hi. My wife and I are looking at HHR's and are still undecided. We are both pretty die hard Chevy fans and like the HHR. We need something to haul our two Golden Retreivers around and to the cottage. We both drive two door Chevys at the moment which are not dog freindly at all. Trying to get pros and cons about these things before making the choice. I must admit that we are also looking at Nissan Xtrails. Please any input would be appreciated. Thanks. Thats all for now.

Welcome to the Fourm.
As to Animal friendly, well one person has 2 Dutch Shepards, one has a St. Bernard, on has 2 boxers,,,,,,Look at a thread called Pets you have.
I have 2 boston terriers.

Besides that I just love the Mileage, room, the whole car.
You will be getting a lot of respones to you question.

But yes very dog friendly. And a few have Extoic Birds that ride in the HHR.

Happy decision making.

Size: 7.7 KBThe HHR is very pet friendly.

And don't let your love of a brand name put blinders on you, sometimes it's good to look outside of that box.

My dogs love the HHR. They particularly like the back windows that open. We didn't have that option in my minivan. They have plenty of room with the seats down or up. They really love the view it offers.

GO FOR IT!

Thanks Jay. I know I'm working too much now . Didn't realize they were coming out with a new SUV Or is it just a replacement for the X-Terra?

The Nissan Xterra is a small suv that Nissan has produced for the UK , and Australia for about 5 years now I think. Nissan has made them available in Canada for the last 2-3 years. They are pretty cool and are rated well, but they kinda ride like a truck which I dont like ( I drove a Pathfinder from 1989 -2001). I looked at a silver 2006 HHR LT tonight with 35,000kms for $15,500 Canadian and its in mint shape. I think the next time you hear from me I'll own it. Thanks all for your responses
