Skills yes, top 5 no. You had Brady #1, and P. Manning #2. Bree's , Mcnabb, Palmer, Bulger, Hell i even think Young and Leinhart are better than Rivers. Oh, and none of those guys have the benefit of having the little option of handing the ball off to LT. Don't get me wrong. I think the guy has talent. Lets just give him a few seasons under his belt before we make him the next Joe Montana.

I'm an AFC guy the I don't consider the NFC as very good. So of the AFC QB's Rivers is in the top five, look at the stats, Rivers ended up the #4 QB in the AFC. And he did it passing not handing off. And don't get me wrong I like Brees and I wanted him to be our QB last year, and I do consider Brees better than Rivers. But he is now in the weaker league.

Brady to me is the # 1 QB , I'm saying Rivers is one of the top 5 QB's in the AFC the stats prove that.

What is so hard to understand? If you compare 3 first year starters why can't you rank those 3 guys, 1, 2, and 3. I don't think Rivers is a top 5 QB yet. I also think there are a couple of other young QB's that are better than him. It's not Rocket Science, just my opinion.
