Thanks. No dissing in this post. Just pure appreciation for the game. August is just around the corner. We'll see what the new season brings to the Pats.

Giants pure and simple beat the hell out of the Pats...the G-Mens defensive line made the Patriots offensive line look like a floodgate...I do not remember seeing Brady ever getting pressured that much

I feel bad that my team did not win but I know that the Giants played a much better game and deserved it...congrats to them and their fans!!

And to the clowns who keep calling them cheaters...listen to the guys who actually played the game (former coaches and players) and be thankful that your team has not been caught doing the same thing (yet)

Brady never had a chance, and the Giants stuck to Randy Moss like glue. The only Pats player getting anywhere was Wes Welker, but alas....it wasn't meant to be. The best playing team won. Now....about next season........

I agree, Goose...and I applaud your good sportsmanship attitude. As to the "cheating" rap, Joe DeLamielleure (HOF player and an astute analyst of the game) has frequently said that football is esentially a simple game. A good team still has to execute, and over the course of the season no team executed quite like the Patriots. Once the Giants got rolling in the playoffs they became a team of destiny growing stronger through the path they had to follow and could play like they had nothing to lose. I pity next season's opponents of the Patriots! They have a huge score to settle and it will be interesting to watch.

ANY team in any sport that has to cheat to win, IMO does not even deserve to win ANYTHING or be in the league!! If found out that my team The Packers were cheating then I would drop them as my #1 team (and I have been a Packer fan for over 40 years), I would be too embarrassed to even admit I was a fan!! I will say the Pats could and my be a great team. But now I wonder "did they cheat today" to win. I am sure other teams have cheated at sometime, but for Goodell to destroy all evidence is very wrong!

Well you better not like any team in professional sports because the truth of the matter is that EVERY team tries to gain an advantage over other teams in any way that they can...

How do you know that the Packers did not do something to gain an advantage this year??? They were a pretty good team after pretty much being a real sorry team the last few years. Could they have done something similar to what the Patriots did but just not get caught???? Remember, the Pats have pretty much been the most dominant NFL team of this decade so far and have a lot of people gunning for them......you could know every play that is coming and you STILL would need to execute the play (forgot who said that...might have been Jason Taylor)

In any event I'm not really as down as I thought I would be....the Giants just were the better team yesterday and deserved the win
