A&P (American & Proud) was 10000% into his Panel, he gutted the entire insides to insulate / sound deaden it to the max.
Plus about 2 million other mods. He was a fun member & friend.

 

I really liked his how to about his suede headliner with the spider embossed, very cool. He was really into customizing his panel

 

I have a set of those wheels on one of my daughter's HHR that I am using as winter wheels for the Blizzaks. Mine are chrome, the ones above look more satin.

Maybe I shouldn't be using them as winter wheels and should use them as the good summer wheels, since everyone seems to like them!

These are plastic cap foam glued to aluminium wheel

 

No, I mean I have a set identical to the ones on the panel. They came as extras from my second HHR (gone as of a couple of years ago) I bought from a forum member here from Delaware about 7 years ago.

The wheels are American Racing (I think) and look like the panel pictures. Sort of like the "Cragar SS" wheels that were popular years ago.

Are they polished like these?

 

I don't remember if they are polished or chromed.

The car is out of town, so I can't just go look at it.

Maybe they will become summer rims now!

I think polished is classier than chrome anymore. Chrome pits & has gotten crazy expensive to have re-done. (Not referring to the plastic chrome clad rims.)

Polished you can let go & later polish them right back to looking new again.
