SJSSK!! Every once in a while someone posts a slideshow that knocks my socks off. And then I want to ask a million questions... I guess this is YOUR day.

First of all, I've never seen boats like that. They are HUGE and look like they are sponsored like race cars. The trailors and trucks that pull them look like rolling dollar signs. What is this race all about? So many beautiful shots that are pretty enough to make WALLPAPER out of! That HHR was pretty sweet too, wasn't it...thanks for getting shots of every angle .

Anyway, I'll restrain myself and hope you'll tell me more. This slideshow was

These are offshore supercats and offshore v bottom race boats. They race in Superboat, APBA, and OSS races. Most have gas engines, but the Geico boat has helicopter turbine engines and is capable of over 200 MPH! This race has become a huge event in St Clair Michigan. The races, a carnival and a concert series in one giant weekend of fun. The HHR was a great find also!

I wish I would have taken a picture up under that visor because it had a center mount that was siliconed to the glass, but it had come loose and the center mount wasnt even attached to the glass anymore. The visor was only being held on by the small side mounts!! One day soon we will see it fly off the car...
