Blue I've owned 2 Pinto wagons both with 5 speeds. Nice cars in their day. Never had the panel. Always thought they would be cool with a Turbo Coupe engine.
Now, I would like (in my dreams) a Vega Panel Express Red or Black with the GT package to park beside my HHR Panel ,but.... my garage is full and my wallet is empty....Gotta go ...john

John- I was big into the Vegas, the early ones, & had to be wagons. I liked to cut the front bumpers like early Camaros with 2 piece bumpers. I've had several. What I did not know was they came in Panel versions. Doh.

Always thought I needed a Cosworth Vega, but never got one. I've had a Vega Estate Wagon, green with the fake wooded sides & back.
Never a GT either. a 1972 wagon I did have, had a lot of promise for a V-8 swap, but that one was T-Boned one night. That ended that. It was totaled.
Probably had about 4 in all. I liked them (obviously)...

Isn't it funny that the WEIRDEST CARS thread has morphed into a talk about Vegas and Pintos.

 

Well, they were pretty weird...

 

Now these were weird. My brother had one with the 304 V8 and a 4 speed. Boy was that thing quick. Ugly but quick!
