out of the stone ages

Yesterday was my bday, and as it was a fairly substantial one (getting old) so my wife bought me an ipod touch, (to make me feel like my kids) WOW.. this thing is friggin sweet, I have no more cd's floating in my ride, I have already put most of my collection on it (what's left). Time to start shopping for a new h/u now with a usb port, then a better way to mount the ipod on the dash somewhere! I never realized what I was missing out on here, technology is so cool.

Happy belated birthday Guy. I know what you mean, I've put a bunch of my CD's on my MP3 to cut down on the clutter. Luckily the 08 HU has a 3.5mm input jack just for this. Maybe you can do a swap and flash on 08 HU to keep it more factory unless you already upgraded other components.
May 23, Victory Layne Chevrolet (old Bill Branch) is having a big car show that I am attending, so maybe we could meet up. They have a ZR1 vette in their showroom that is sweet. PM me if you're interested. Maybe we could get Pete and Sarah and have an HHR section.

Welcome to the new age Now that you have an Ipod you can try out Itunes instead of buying a whole CD of music you don't like you can buy just a song or two and save money
