Photographs of President Bush

I've been a little busy the last couple weeks, President Bush came to the Army War College on Wednesday and I got to photograph him.
I thought I would share a few pics I took.
The one pic shows me in the crowd.

HERE is a link to more pics and the Article

Scott-
Nice shots. Good composition and colors. Was that with the 18-200 VR ? Nice results with that ISO 3200 shot, but that's what you get for the $.

No shoes here, buddy. You're in America now. Excellent shots (except the one with you is a little blurry. I assume you did not take that shot.)

Thanks, both were with the 18-200, (not the best lens for low light but it did the job) the second shot was during a Q&A and they shut off some of the light that they used during the Address so I had to go to 3200. I used the Nikon D300 with that lens, My Nikon D3 had the 14-24mm lens on and I had to ditch my other D3 with the 400mm when I went up front

lol, they probably would have taken you out thinkin that you're pointing a bazooka at the pres.....
If you had you a 400mm mounted to a FF D3, why use the noisier APS D300 for a long shot? 400 a fixed focal, too long? Just curious.....

The "topic" is simply "President Bush."

The body of the first post shows off some original photographs, but they're not mentioned in the "topic."
