I think I'm in love. Not being a fan of full on convertibles, when I owned my Crossfire I always wished Chrysler would have done this:

i absolutely love the 'verts, but this is just sick. gives those hardcore folks an alternative instead of buying a 'vert and finding a hardtop for it like Miatas, S2000's, etc. beautiful lines, and the targa option is always cool lol.

 

Now that looks nice i hate the one that is out currently, but this is really nice.

 

Wonder if GM will also do the conversion to the Saturn Sky?

well, considering the Sky is essentially the Vauxhall VX220 and Opel Speedster, and they're already targas, i can't see why not. probably will test the waters to see how the targa coupe will work out for Pontiac, and if it does well, targa the Sky. though the Vauxhall/Opel isn't a flowing coupe like the Solstice Coupe, it's more kinda hacked off like an older MR2 or Fiero. looks sick, and would diversify the brother coupes from Pontiac and Saturn even more if they went that route, giving them their own shares of the market, i would imagine.

Looks like they took out the big box sitting in the rear compartment so you don't have to pack around the trunk!
