Possible Replacement for my 2010 HHR SS

Well. Been looking for a while for a good used Ford Flex with the EcoBoost engine. Found this 2019 Limited with all the bells and whistles. Only 20k miles on it. Not a big fan of the blacked out appearance pkg. but I guess I could live with it. I know it's not the best time to buy but if I can get a decent deal I may have to get it. The carfax shows it was a fleet/corporate car in Florida. Not a rental.
Not going to trade in my HHR SS. Will sell it to an individual if I get the Flex.
Tell me what you think.

3 reasons I chose the HHR SS.
Power, fuel economy, cargo space.
How does the Flex stack up?

Looks bigger.

FMG- Yes outright sale of yer SS would be best.. Market is hot for pre-owned mint rides like yours, that command nice $$$$.

The Flex, I see many drawn to it. I've never looked at one in person.. I'm not hot or cold to it.. My HHR is the longest I ever owned same vehicle..

If you like it, go for it..

If I ever find the right S-10 Extreme, I may go for that. Hard to find tho..,.

I think you should consider keeping the SS .
The Flex is nice as a replacement for your pickup truck, but remember, you will not find a well kept SS in the condition your is. I know they aren’t collector cars yet, but then again, do you really want those regrets when they are?
My vote keep that SS !

20K miles at a good price seems too good to pass up. When introduced the Flex got a lot of interest from car enthusiast but i don't think it has stuck. If you don’t like the blackout, why pay the premium for it? If you have a special insider price, go ahead and flip it. I seem to remember something about the water pump INSIDE the motor causing some concern.

HHR SS seems to be steadily rising in price, even more than the COVID driven craziness. That will end eventually. What shouldn’t be surprising is how quick fuel economy has affected the market. All of a sudden the local dealers can’t get enough gas-savers and can’t give away trucks.

OK. Not going to buy this particular Ford Flex.
Took a 50 mile trip over to look at it. Seems the dealer was wrong. This car is not equipped with the Ecoboost as they told me.
Oh well. I'll keep looking.

It’s fun to look! Disappointing when they get it wrong!

Shame on that Dealer BS'ing you..

I love the hunt. Me, I have been patiently waiting for the right one, must hit all or most all the check boxes.. Something like this but not Red, (no offence) just not a color I want.

I had a demo 2009 Flex Limited, root beer brown with a white roof. Even had the optional cooler between the back seats. It was an awesome family vehicle but definitely drove like a lumbering SUV.

Not a fan of those black wheels, but otherwise it looks good.
