Don't think for an instant that Amazon wouldn't jump to another source without telling anyone if the profit margin were correct. That new source might be a completely different product in the exact same packaging.

I use a store brand full synthetic that I believe is also made by Warren. On sale It's generally $2.69 a quart. No one's ever been able to explain to me how the expensive stuff is better. I would not hesitate to use the Amazon oil.

I've been doing that for years....probably since 1990.Use Blackstone Labs because I had a personal relationship with them. Best part is ALL the different oils and filters
I used displayed excellent results.

Edit....should add a correction to my last statement. Analysis on 2 vehicles that were relatives and friends, had the infamous high silicone values indicating the intake gasket/antifreeze problem. Both issues were resolved by the dealer and GM with the support of several consecutive analysis displaying increasing values.
