The second young actor to die in less then 2 weeks.

Brad Renfro (the kid in "The Client") died at age 25 on Jan 16th.

Both from an apparent drug overdose.

 

It is sad to see them die, way to young.

Do you guys think it will affect The Dark Knight in any way? I believe all of his Joker scenes are shot. They'll have to at least add an "in memory of" to the credits you would figure.

 

When they commit suicide, it's not sad, it's stupid.

 

Of course not, they won't loose that money. Didn't stop them when Brandon Lee was murdered on the set.

 

Yeah but I think they had to shoot additional scenes after his death with a fill in which I believe was his stunt double. I'm almost 100% sure principal filming of The Dark Knight is completed but sometimes there are post production re-shoots or maybe additional scenes that the director wants to add after the fact. While it's not the norm it's not uncommon. There is no doing that when your talent is dead. Maybe his death will draw more people to the film being his last and all.

 

I haven't heard it was suicide yet. I think the autopsy is today. The last I heard police were assuming that it was an accidental overdose of his anti-anxiety medicine and I think they also mentioned that he had pneumonia when he died. I guess we'll have to wait for the autopsy results.

 

No they have not said that yet. Yet he was found in bed with pills everywhere. Accidential Overdose.... What does that mean? Directions, take one pill, well if I take 10, that will make me feel better faster? After hearing his statement after his child was born, sounds like he was preparing for it.
