Sadly, Neil has passed away after a fight with brain cancer, he was the greatest drummer of my generation.

Amazing precision that he had. The fast stuff was but one part of his skills. His percussion bits in The Trees and some of their older stuff was eerily good...
I once read a story that he initially wanted to be a free-form drummer like the Grateful Dead, but evolved into something much more unique.
He also wrote essentially all the lyrics for Rush. That's talent. RIP, Neil!
