Bat Mobile by George Barris at a car show in Big Bear California around 1992.

I remember as a kid (in the 1970's) seeing one of these cars driving down a main drag where I lived. I was ecstatic! I had seen the real Bat Mobile! At that moment (as a kid) I knew Bat Man and Robin were real! I loved watching the TV show as a kid.

At a car show in Big Bear California in about 1992 we had the chance to see that car again. This time I got to convince my son Bat Man was real and here was his car!

There is someone local with one of these. Every now and then you see it running down the road. It's a lot louder than the one from the TV show....
