I remember 95% of them. And if you missed a show on one of the three channels, you could always watch the re-run in the summer.

It's hard to believe that the all the networks shut down around 12pm and there was no TV until early the next morning. When UHF channels came out there were stations that had shows on after midnight and we thought that was so cool.

 

Reminds me of that song by Jamie Johnson "In Living Color". Even if you're not a country fan this one can pluck at a string or two in all of us I think.

 

I remember most of those. My dad was in the TV business from the early '50's until aobut 1980, so we always had the best equipment.... We had a motorized antenna on the roof.
