Road Ripper Contest ???
Is there anyone out there interested in being involved in an HHR Road Ripper contest ?
You know, sorta like the featured ride , but not a year long thing, maybe til the summer, when we`ll all be primping and polishing our full size rides, getting them ready for the featured ride contest.
I thought a couple people wanted to start a Ripper project, but I haven`t been able to find one since X-Mas time.

while i love models and have built many, even a couple of dioramas, doing a model contest with you is like bringing a knife to a gun fight. i am simply outmatched, lol. but what the hay, i may give it a shot if for no other reason than i dont have a model hhr yet.

Fantomfreke, I`m too upset to even read your post...
Anyway, I haven`t got anything going on right now, no rippers to be found.
Standing by for more entrants/interestees. (I think I just made that word up )

I like the plane, and it`s probably an authentic replica, but, the reason I wanted to have an exclusively HHR Ripper contest is because we (the members/site visitors) all have some idea as to what details we`re looking at.
I could look at the Plane all day and only see a Plane.
When I see a HHR, I`m focusing in on something I`m familiar with.
So , I think that for the sake of fairness, this should be a HHR contest only.
Scarecrow, I want yours to look like that too.
I couldn`t make mine look as close to the real thing , for my taste.

I understand your point and won't enter my planes. I do have a "stock" road ripper, so I may do some work and enter it. I deleted my previous message to keep this focused on road rippers.
