Breaking the rules is still breaking the rules, and the outcome is usually that you lose all.

Yes, he should be in the Hall of fame. He gambled and that was wrong, but he never tested positive for cocaine ( one player tested positve 7 times and still was allowed to play!) or steriods and had over 4,000 hits. I guess you can get high and play and its ok.

Yes he should. He has paid his due and done everything the comish has said he needs to do. Plus you should be judged based on what you do on the field. Bonds will get in as will Sosa and others. No there is not 100% proof they cheated but.....
LT did drugs and a few others in the NFL they will in get or already are. Rick Tocket will get in the NHL hall when his time comes.

You almost had me until Tocchet??? No way is he worthy of the Hall

I'll stand by my vote. Gambling is one of the most serious offenses in sports...sorry Pete, you had your chance and you friggin blew it.

Do doing coke or smokin a joint is ok? Thats breaking the law. depending where and how gambling is not agaisnt the law. I am not saying gambling on on your sport is ok, but if players do things against the law, and get into the HOF how can you not put someone such as Rose in the hall. How many times did Strawberry get busted for drugs? Bet he get in the hall based on his numbers.

Have to vote yes.

His nomination should be based on what he did on the field, not off.
