My first new car was my beloved 1996 SOB (Standard Onyx Black) Impala SS... when SS meant something! Her name... Sydney. My first vehicle ever owned was a 1994 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-7R

First car I drove - 81 Olds Delta 88 Royale sedan
First car I bought - 89 Cavalier RS (bought new)
Followed by a 98 Cavalier, 2001 Malibu, 2003 Malibu, and now a 2006 HHR.

Of all the cars I have owned, the 89 Cavalier and the 2006 HHR are the best of them all.

In 1990, I bought a $400 (my life savings) '78 chevy Impala about a week before I started college. I use to joke that it got ten gallons to the mile.

My first car was a 1972 Ford Maverick 4dr Blue. Had it about 3 months than the speaker caught on fire while driving to work. I may have had something to do with it but you can't prove a thing!

First car I drove: '65 Chevy Belair
First car given to me: '71 Chevy Belair Police Special 400 engine
First car I purchased: '78 Toyota p/u (boy, the Japanese sure didn't know to produce good sheet metal back then)

Ok, now that you all know how old I am, my favorite car is still my HHR. I love the older design and enjoy the mileage, comfort, and roominess it offers. I had to go smaller and more fuel efficient. This was a great choice!

First car was a 1993 Cadillac Seville STS. It's not as much a pimp-mobile as other cadillacs, but it had the Northstar V8. Bad on gas, and expensive parts and labor. I'm still trying to sell it (hint hint, lol...)

My dad and I had a '79 Impala which we got a quarter of a million miles on and never changed the timing chain. All it needed was general maintenance,a starter and a radiator if I remember correctly. My main car through college wa my '62 Corvair Monza coupe. I'll scan some pictures later and post 'em.

My favorite car outside of the Corvairs was my '62 Buick Skylark with the aluminum 125 V8.
A fun stylin' car!
Here's one from the 'net, same color as mine, but I had more rust!

Ok, first car was a 1968 Olds 98 four door. Grey with no skirts and lots of dents. My friend Paul peed in the gas tank to make it to a gas station one time!
Paul and Willy (two brothers), and I ran a disco back in 1978. They gave me the car after I worked the turntables for the summer. I still don't know if it was worth it! Boogie, Oggie, oggie!

455 CI 400 HP stock. A great boat for a young guy. A lot of power with limited handling, but a lot of Detroit steel to compensate for an errors in judgment!

Here is a pic of a green one, sans dents:

As you can see, I love GMs from the '60's!

My first car was a 1974 pinto station wagon. The first car I bought myself was a 1977 trans am special edition. Never go from a pinto to a trans am. Good way to get your license suspended becouse of speeding tickets. I have some pics of my TA, but never took a single pic of the pinto, too ashamed.
