Simple Galaxy S3 GPS Fix!
If you have a Galaxy S3 and have spotty or low to zero GPS reception, download GPS TEST from the Play store. Run it and you will see 1 or 0 out of 20+ satellites being connected. Now, pop off the back cover and get or buy yourself a small enough Phillips head screwdriver to tighten the screws that hold the body together. Give them a gentle turn to make sure they're snug. Pay particular attention to the one on the top left corner. Now replace the back cover, start the GPS TEST app again and be amazed at the magic you just performed as you pick up 20+ out of 20+ satellites. You're welcome. Found this simple fix on a forum and it worked for me!
*I am in no way affiliated with or guarantee GPS Test. There are other apps with similar functions. That's just the one I used.

No problem. Hope it helps someone. Seems that the gps receiver requires the front and back to be completely fastened together for whatever type of contacts are used for a complete circuit. Even a hair loose makes a difference
