Son leaving school, start of snow storm. Did everything right. Got rear ended by a 16 year old in a Ranger. I got the short end of the stick, but he has to pay!

When I got there, read the 16 year old the riot act. He felt really bad. 4 wrecks coming out of my sons school that day. Know a really good body man. It'll look like new, but now the title will be tagged.

Moved to a more appropriate forum "The Lounge" not exactly "General HHR" material. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Ouch is right, glad neither one of them got hurt, 16 year olds are dangerous creatures.

Glad your boy is OK, but sucks to see a damaged vehicle.

Sorry to see that!

An accident (minor one) early in their driving career often makes the drivers more careful because they realize, yes, even they can get in an accident.

Its unusual to see sheared sheet metal in a fender-bender. Looks like part of the ranger (bumper?) punched through the upper taillight, caught on the sheet metal edge and then continued cutting.

Looks like the Ranger had a bumper/grill guard. I have a can opener like that on my F150
