They've been selling the ForTwo in Canada for a couple of years.

The price of a decently equipped one costs almost as much as my HHR did.

In the 360 virtual tour, it looks like there are two roof panels that lift out. Is that correct?

I drove a Chevy Chevette for 18 months in the early 80's because it was all I could afford. I only put passangers in the back when I absolutely had to. A rear-end collision could kill them!

I vowed never to drive a car that small again.

I wouldn't be caught dead in one. I would think if you were ever in an accident in one, you would be caught dead in it.

Contrary to popular theory, the Mercedes A-class and the Smart are NOT related. The Smart started as a collaboration between Swatch (the watch company) and Mercedes. Swatch dropped out and (then) DaimlerBenz continued development. While there may be some component sharing because of the DaimlerChrysler connection, the Smart is rear wheel drive and powered by a rear engine. The A-class (W168/9) are front engine, front wheel drive models.

The A-class is a cool little ride - enoy it. Me, I'd like a B-class like the ones sold in Canada.

After living in Florida for 3 years, it's not that uncommon to see a high school kid driving on the sidewalk. It IS unusual to see a high school kid driving on the side walk in a vehicle that changes from a HHR to a Jetta to bike to a Civic in the blink of an eye
