I'd go along with driving one myself, if everyone else on the road drove one too.

Smart Car

Just saw a Smart Car in our town. Man, it is small when mixed in with the rest of the world.

I vowed never to drive a car that small again.

Sandy, I had one of those.
and was almost killed in a head on collision
they were death traps on wheels.

Pulls triple duty.....

Great mileage......Easy to park....when you get hit in one, you can be buried in it too.

Smart cars are safer than a full size SUV in a head-on collision.

Please don't show your ignorance & dismiss them based on size.

Cute car, but I'd never take it on I-95 in Florida. Will it drive at 80 mph for extended periods of time? Looks unsafe at any speed.

Last summer I was driving down a hwy had my cruise set at 80 mph and ones of those cars passed me.Those things look no safer than driving a motorcycle at anything over 50 mph.

These cars will outsurvive your internal organs in the event of a crash!!!

Keep in mind that is a Euro spec model in the video, so the USA version will be even more safe.

We've had them up here for a year or so.
I saw one with a personalized plate that said SPLATT
