Angry The 'Smurfinator' has become,

a regular cop magnet.
Every where I go I have cops following me and I had one pull me over last week.
I haven't received any tickets.
I was warned though about passing a very slow moving convoy of 4 vehicles. They were moving at around 20 mph and there was no oncoming traffic. The cop told me that my passing maneuver was unsafe. I told him I never exceeded the speed limit and passed them with the cruise on. I just didn't see the patrol car that was in front of the Suburban in the convoy. Meanwhile the other cops in the vehicle got out to look my ride over.
As a rule I usually drive with the cruise on at 5 or so mph above the posted speed limit. So, the cop today made a U-turn to follow me about 10 miles while I was on my way to work. I did slow down to the actual speed limit without using the brake pedal. They know they got you when you hit the brakes.
So much for the occasional sprint. I did get it up to 120 mph this week without hardly trying though and still had plenty of pedal room to the floor.
I guess I'll just have to get used to this when I drive my SS.
I made a similar pass on another convoy a day or two later in my Passat and did not have any hassle. It was another 4-car line with a cop in the middle.
Anybody else notice more cop attention when in there little hot rods/SS's?

They're just jealous, Mike! Is it a chick magnet, too?

I get followed many times. Usually by female police officers.

Not me. I believe that it is because of the colors of your respective rides. I drive a black SS and it is debadged, so to the untrained eye it appears that I have a standard LS or LT. Never have I recieved a second look from my local LE.

I haven't noticed any additional attention from the LEOs.

Cops don't give my SS any attention at all. And it is bright red.

the brighter or more distinguished the color the more they are noticed, however the SS is not on the top ten ticket list.

Mine is Imperial Blue and cant even get a look from them.

My SOM SS doesn't seem to garner any extra attention either
