Same with me, I am not politicly correct, I tend to offend often, but I don't care. I really don't. I am not sensitive to anything too, say anything you want, I don't do anything. I'm not saying that everyone should be like me, but if your the sensitive type, (and you know who you are, don't deny it,) lighten up! It's just words! Words don't hurt!! I've never heard anyone ask whats the matter and the person reply "Somebody hurt me with their words." All it is is another excuse to whine and complain. Somebody needs to set the world straight, show them what real pain is, not involving words. I was thinking more along the lines of tire irons.

It's not like I say "punch" and everyone feels like they were punched. Although, that would be cool.

This is sorta off topic, but I read today that since the religious right is against gay marriage, because marriage is a union of two people to procreate, the proponents of gay marriage have introduced a bill that says, a couple has to produce a child from said union with-in three years or the marriage is automatically anulled...

I understand the thinking involved but don't agree with their solution. Heres the article:

Marriage proposal: Make childbearing mandatory
published Monday, February 5, 2007
Proponents of same-sex marriage have introduced a ballot measure that would require heterosexual couples to have a child within three years or have their marriages annulled.
The Washington Defense of Marriage Alliance acknowledged on its Web site that the initiative was "absurd" but hoped the idea prompts "discussion about the many misguided assumptions" underlying a state Supreme Court ruling that upheld a ban on same-sex marriage.

The measure would require couples to prove they can have children to get a marriage license. Couples who do not have children within three years could have their marriages annulled.

All other marriages would be defined as "unrecognized," making those couples ineligible for marriage benefits.

The paperwork for the measure was submitted last month. Supporters must gather at least 224,800 signatures by July 6 to put it on the November ballot.

The group said the proposal was aimed at "social conservatives who have long screamed that marriage exists for the sole purpose of procreation."

Cheryl Haskins, executive director of Allies for Marriage and Children, said opponents of same-sex marriage want only to preserve marriage as the union of a man and a woman.

"Some of those unions produce children and some of them don't," she said. (Rachel La Corte, AP)

I didn't think I would see the day when the gay rights groups would be upset over two men kissing on prime time national television during one of the most watched events of the year. It's not exploiting gays or encouraging homophobia. It's making fun of overly macho insecure in their sexuality heteros. You thing gays would see the joke in it. I wouldn't be surprised if a gay dude came up with the ad. It could have been a lot worse. The two guys could have had a "sword fight" over the snickers.

I thought the commercial/ad was "rolling on the floor" funny. It was just 2 guys who were insecure in who THEY are.

Didn't we have the same comments and debate several months ago? Using certain words, and how Americans are overly sensitive....and looking to pick an issue with anything not intended as an issue.

I would rather have a child adopted or born by two loving people who happen to be gay long before I would want another child popped out by some moron who has no more business being a parent other than the fact that they somehow found themselves impregnated. The problem with this country is that children and drivers license`s are too easy to get. Example, the case in the news and dicsussed on this site about the man who tasered his 18 month old kid. Boy, he`s a great example of heterosexuality. I would have any of my kids be gay and in a caring relationship any day before I would have them be in an abusive hetero relationship just because a church say thats how it`s supposed to be.
