Snowed-in in Oswego IL!

Well we decided to spend the week-end and drive into Chicago today after dropping off my car at Hahn Racecraft.

Overnight we got 4 inches of snow and another 1-3 expected today! I guess we'll be dropping the plans on driving into Chicago, about 50 miles west of where we are, they got 6-8 inches.

Too bad we already bought the tickets for Shedd's Aquarium.

Keep on coming, Mike. They do a good job with snow removal on the highways and where the "tourists" go. Stay off the side streets is all.

Check this link for webcams of the local highways...

Glad you folks made it safe... After I saw you were heading up there this weekend and saw the forecast, wasn't sure if you were still going...

Be careful on your trip back...

We were in the mid 60's yesterday in St. Lou but temps expected to drop this week down below zero by Thursday.

BTW - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

I think we're gonna hang out here, enjoy the pool, and just take it easy. Sent Bonnie across the street for some supplies. Caleb LOVES all the snow. I'll probably have to help him build a snowman later. LOL

Snowed in up here as well. We have about 6inches down and now there saying another 1-3. They extended the Winter weather advisory untill 6pm tonight. We thought that year was hell with all the snow. we have already surpassed last year's snow fall amount.

Make's me wish i lived Down south or at least had a Garage.
