Yes, there is another new Chevy in the family! I went with my son tonight to pick up his first new ride, a 09 Chevy Malibu LT1. I don't know who was more excited, him or me!

I am very proud of him to get a great full-time position right out of college and to be able to afford a new car! He has had several cars (all GM or couse!) but never a new one. It is a beautiful riding car too and that new 6 speed automatic is so smooth! I like the tap shifting on the wheel that is cool!

Must be nice! I begged my parents to buy me a small used car when I turned 16, they ended up giving me their 6yo used Ford Aerostar minivan when I graduated 2 yrs later! Only good thing was I was able to sell it for just enough to buy a '62 Cadillac Sedan deVille! Very nice ride though, I wish we would have gotten one of those instead of the 08 Camry LE I bought for my wife.

Thanks Chad! They are great aren't they! When he saw those wheels on that white one he was hooked. I'll have to take a couple pics of the interior. He went on a road trip with his buddies so it will be a couples days or so now...

I'll get a close up of them also... No they are chrome clad aluminum I believe. I can't remember for sure, I think they call them Chrome Technica or something like that...

Hmmm... I should swap them on my SS to see how they look! I don't think he'd like me touchin' them!
