This debate can go on and on until the cows come home and all it is going to do is create friction between the members. I don't understand why when a thread is locked that people feel the need to start up another one to continue what didn't work in another thread. This horse is dead...in fact, it's beyond dead.
There are obviously topics that cannot be discussed here on this forum without the discussion turning into an all out war, so why keep dredging it up. Is there so little to talk about in the HHR world that people feel the need to tread into these dangerous waters?
The whole thing is not about who is right and who is wrong. When dealing with the human species, you're always going to have people on both ends of the spectrum and a bunch of people in between...all with varying opinions. It's been human nature from the beginning of time and will be until who knows when.
As they say in racing...cautions breed cautions, and when it comes to forum life...locked threads breed locked threads. There's a ton of things to talk about that aren't HHR related and that's fine, but this constant beating of dead horses is not going to do anything more than create unrest in the forums. Seems to me it's not that hard to find a multitude of things to discuss that won't create all this unnecessary friction.

If I want to argue religion, I'll duke it out with my brother in law the scientologist . I want to hear about mods, stereo systems, exhaust, quick fixes to make my HHR a sweeter ride, that's why I'm here.

It just seems I see a lot of posts lately that the original poster doesn't think of the other groups they may offend. 
We really should just keep politics and religion out of our debates. I know it's hard for some but it only leads to problems. Just because you get some email you think is witty and sums something up doesn't mean the rest of us will agree.
