Strangest thing just happened to me on the way in to QuikTrip...

I had already pumped gas at the Bridgeton QuikTrip and paid at the pump when I decided to walk inside to buy a drink.

As I was walking up to the door of the store, some lady came out of the store with her young son and walked right up to me and asked me "Are you here in St. Louis for the MLB All-Star Game?"

I first thought she was asking me for directions to Busch Stadium or something. I was a bit confused and said, "uh yeah".

She said "I don't want to bother you for an autograph, so can my son take a cell phone picture of us together?"

I said "I guess".

He did. They walked away thanking me...

I have no freaking idea who they think I am?

I wonder if she thought I look like a celebrity or MLB ballplayer in town for tonight's Homerun Derby or tomorrow night's MLB All-Star Game.

 

Maybe you should have charged $25 a pop for pics and $15 for autographs and started lining people up

 

Who's name would he sign? Homer J Simpson.

 

That's what I was scared of... who the heck's name would I have signed if she would have wanted an autograph?

I guess I could have just done a really bad scribble...
