Here in Ohio it is classified as a car/stationwagon. It costs me less than my S-10 used too. $95 for a personalized plate, which is $35 extra.

In Nebraska you pay personal property tax & license every year.. back then my 84 chev chevette cost close to 454.00 for the PP tax alone and 91. more for the plates..

You forget to mention that most of that is the government-run personal injury liability. When you shop for car insurance in Quebec, this is not included in the premium (only property damage), and thus the yearly insurance & registration premium for my HHR is about $700 (Cdn) + the $250 registration.

Oh and... welcome Hot Horny... there's always room for more of that.
