Super Bowl Xli
dream on...the NFL has rigged this year so the Saints go...just to save the franchise. It will be hte patriots winning over the saints...27-21! Count it..call your bookies...place your wagers and bankroll the winnings !
I wont go as far as the nfl rigged the season, or the score but I agree with the teams and the patriots just pulling it out.
Once again the AFC won't send thier best team to the Superbowl. Argh. I thought the Chargers would be tough to beat, but I should have remembered back when marty was in Kansas City that he doesn't do well in post season. I would like the see a Saints/Patriots game with the pats winning. I wouldn't count out the Colts though, Manning is a great quarterback. Sorry to the bears fans, but I don't see them going to the superbowl, but I have been wrong before, and quite freqently according to the wife.
When the Dolphins fell apart a few years ago, our local station stopped broadcasting their games. Instead, we get the Saints and the Falcons and sometimes the Jaguars or Bucaneers. None have been overly impressive until now.
I truly hope the Saints get to the Superbowl. The city of New Orleans needs this to forget their troubles for at least a little while. I've also been a Peyton Manning fan (except when he play for that school wearing ORANGE). He and the Colts have been so close so many times. I really hope this is their year.

True, but it's not without precedent. My boys, the Detroit Lions, did a two-year stretch like that. 1990-1991, they went 5-11: the next season they were 12-4 and advanced to the NFC Championship, where they unfortunately lost to the Redskins. They haven't been back since, and haven't been the same since that idiot Millen took over.
