Blue,

Don't hesitate to ask your Oncologist the questions.
Some times they leave you in the dark without a little kick in the pants.

1. Stage of Cancer.
2..Latest Labs: Colon Cancer Marker Status Number. i.e 20,30,40 ?
3. What treatment will be used going forward from here. Write down the Correct Names of the Chemo Drugs if they are going that way.
Get spelling correct
4. Beware of Avastin.

Silverfox.

Sweetie’s appointment went very well, her staples were removed today, the surgeon explained he removed about 8 inches of her colon, the tests confirmed there is a clean margin, there were 2 lymphoids that had small cancerous parts that were removed.
So, a visit with an oncologist in a week or two and see about any further treatment like chemotherapy.

She’s going to have to be a good girl, Santa is watching! We have a ton of paperwork and things to sort out regarding her Mom, that’s keeping her occupied!
Thanks Rich, we appreciate your thoughts!

Today , we had an appointment with oncologist to plan out further treatment, Sweetie’s cancer was removed during the colon surgery, it was stage 3, so, the next 3 months a regimen of chemotherapy, to ensure the cancer is fully kicked to the curb! No residual microscopic bits floating around in her blood stream or tissues .
Just to make sure.
He did say no hospital stay, all outpatient appointments.
