5 in a row for Tiger. The man..the machine! I was surprised to see hom play so soon after his fathers death, but that tourney IMHO set him straight for the last 5 and for the near future. He is playing with a calmness and control that is rivaled by all other athletes. Not only golfers, but all athletes. hell, I wish I had his calmness in my position as a mortgage broker!

 

True enough. Talent is only about 30% of the equation at that level I think. The mental toughness is by far his most important asset. His dad bred it into him. Golf is a very tough game made to look easy. Not a lot of athletes in any sport have that intangible. The mystique and will to win that Bobby Jones and Michael Jordan had is a rare quality.
