You brought it up....and we responded.
It's the between the line bickering thats the problem and the solution is to take it to PM/private.
Why is it that whenever I start a thread, the mod. has to deem it a problem? I`ve been told that I`m not forced to join in on threads, that doesn`t seem to apply to everyone.
I believe I had the same right as anyone else to start this poll, and because someone took offense it is a problem.
Everyone who comes on this site is asked to create a username. Going around to the backdoor to address someone otherwise is disrespectful.
A mod. should be pointing this out, not saying,"I don`t care just don`t call me late for dinner"... There should be some etiquette on the site...

Ahhh, I vote for a LOCK.....
This thread, with the continuous nowhere debate, is going nowhere.
Black Beauty, you tried to establish something or make a point. And, you certainly have that right. If it was your intent to establish some type of decorum, I would probably look elsewhere. It's just not going to happen here. But if it was because of a problem with "proper" name usage, I would just tell someone to call me by Snoopy (or whatever, except for 06' cause he's still a juvenile, and should respect his elders like me and say, "Sir" or "Mister").
.
But, I think I do understand your point. Maybe much like the telephone solicitor who asks for you by your first name.....that burns my a$$ and I "chew" them out, indicating my close friends are the ONLY people that use my first name....and I pick my close friends carefully, which you are not one !!!
For what it's worth, let it go, this is going nowhere.

and take out anything you don't want shown.
What the crap is going on? This is meaningless garbage. Not the posts, just the fact that there is a lot of bickering going on over something as small as this. I realize we all have opinions, but we should try to get along. Black Beauty, from what I've read so far in this thread, you owe Sindy an apology. She didn't seem to be getting on your case to me, she just seemed like she wanted to state a few light hearted things until you took offense. We're all adults here, well most of us, and we shouldn't be so sensitive over all these petty things. I've said my piece now, unless someone takes offense of it.
