Comfortable to shoot or conceal? Almost no small firearm is comfortable to shoot. I have an Airweight S&W 342 Hammerless revolver that is comfortable as all hell to carry in an Uncle Mikes pocket holster but a bear to shoot. I remember it almost bringing tears to my eyes the first night I bought it....fired something like 200 rounds...big mistake lol

Those small hammerless revolvers are great for what they are intended for...draw, point at COM of the bad guy and pull the trigger 5 times as fast as you can....all from the distance maybe of 3-7 feet

Goose

PS I agree....400 limits what you may be able to find.....Glock 26 is another nice carry gun

Look at a Kel-Tec P3AT. Fits in your front pocket and can be concealed in your hand. Mine has operated flawlessly. It can usually be bought for around $250. No it doesn't have the knock down of my .45 but it sure is easier to conceal and can be easily carried all of the time without anyone knowing. One more thing, if anyone tries to tell you a .380 isn't an effective round for your intended purpose, just smile and know they are crazy.

I have no opinion about what gun for you to get b/c you always complain about not having money.. Here is your chance to save some especially when you have plenty of other guns sir...

BUT that's just my opinion.

I just wanted to add that the new Ruger Stubby is the LCR. Also you can buy this gun with or without Crimson Trace Laser Grips. Also you can buy them for the Ruger LCP . There are pictures of both guns on the Crimsom Trace web site.

I like the Sig 239. You can get it in 3 calibers. Lots of cops use them for back-up guns.

What caliber will the LCP be?

As far as the crimson trace grip option for the LCP goes, that is an option that comes with the pistol. at least that is how Ruger is offering it, the problem is that none are available yet.... It only took them a year from introduction of the LCP to actually get some on the market, so I figure another 6 months or more before you can buy one with the crimson trace option.
