Out of all the recent debate I was just wondering in a general poll how many support and believe in our war in Iraq. I don't want this to turn into a huge debate with Republicans vs. Democrats and all that. So no Bush bashing or anything like that. If you comment keep them non argumentative and try to stay on the main topic. I'll keep the poll anonymous so you will just appear as a figure in the poll with no screen name shown so you can voice your opinion if you don't want it to be known. As most of you know I don't support us being there.

 

Time to give it back to the Iraqi's and get out.

It is better to exterminate vermin at the source,wherever it is,than wait until it invades your home.

 

The progress made compared to the money spent and lives lost tells me we have overstayed IMO.

 

Yeah. I'm actually curious about what all of us think and I would rather not see the thread locked. It's easy to find public opinion polls but not from such a small group that I talk to frequently. I think this would be a far more personal poll than a media one. The figures would seem a lot more real world to me.

 

Invading Iraq was wrong from the start and nothing that has happened there since has given me reason to change my mind!! The War in Afghanistan at least had some justification, and actual support.

 

I'm just gonna sit back and watch this thread......I did vote though!

Eventually we will have to deal with this problem. Personally I would prefer to do it in their country than in ours. I still believe that we as a country did not start this mess, but the problem came to us. There are cost involved and we can only thank those who have made sacrifices to keep this from our shores. God Bless the Military.
