Weather forcast

The geese have started gathering in big groups for their annual southern journey. This leaves one thing in the near future....

Already feeling it in the air here in Texas, I think it's going to be a long hard winter. So far we have had just over a month of summer, the nights are already cooling down. Here in Austin summer usually runs from May 1st to mid October, Aug. and Sept. daily temps usually right around 100s lows in the mid 80s. Highs right now in the mid 90s lows in the mid 70s. Better get ready for the cold boys and girls.

The geese fly through here every year. I've never seen that at my house

Offer them some corn, if they stay around for a couple months more.

Just remember this area is noted for the cold weather first. Leaves are just starting to drop and some colors are starting to show. later this week our lows will dip into the 30's again. Last week Embarras Min fell into the 20's a couple nights... Air Conditioning, um whats that. Our high today was a pleasant 78 degrees.

OK Back to summer.......
