i Call mine the her(HHR)

 

White panel has been called the "Ice Cream Truck"

 

Somebody called mine that once...... Actually he said "how's the her treating you?" seeing as I've been long divorced and single I was like....

Was about to start looking around for whoever it was he was talking to.....

 

Yeah, my brother called it that once and it just stuck, so now everyone that knows my car call it the her.

 

Both my son's call it "daddy blue car". When I first got it, the guys at work called it "purple"...which turned into "The Barney Mobile". Not real sure why they thought it was purple, but at least that didn't last real long :)

 

I was working a rod show for a friend a few years ago when the first HHR in town drove in. Just to be a jerk, I walked over to the salesman who was driving it and said "So this is the new PT Cruiser!" I thought he was going to get out and pound me. Geez, no sense of humor!

I always have older people (I'm 58, so when I say "older" it is usually someone my parent's age) give mine a long, hard look. It is just so period I think they can relate a lot to the shape. I know I do! I just wish mine was a panel, but I had to take what was available to get an SS. If it were a Panel I would build it as the Pie Wagon from Hollywood Knights.

 

My HHR her name is Jolene..misses steal your man 😂 (2008 white HHR ls)

 

Mine is "TAZ" as in devil.
